On October, 28 the HandiFox team welcomed our partners to the first HandiFox Global Partner Conference at the Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront conference hall. First times/experiences are never what one is expecting or hoping for them to be. Ours was! Here is our short conference wrap-up that we would love to share with you.
We had a quite diverse audience, comprising IT consultants, QuickBooks resellers, certified ProAdvisors and trainers and our long-term clients, gathered together to share insights, success stories, make suggestions for improvement, see the brand new online version of HandiFox in action and, last but not least, have this long-awaited one-on-one meeting that hasn’t been possible for most of us. Having broken out of their work routines, those people freed up a Friday to travel from other states and even countries (HandiFox partners from Trinidad & Tobago and Barbados made their way to the conference, too) to meet and help us look at things from different angles.
The HandiFox Team presented HandiFox Desktop’s roadmap and opened up a roundtable discussion. We do research a lot and are constantly keeping an eye on the market, pondering customer needs and wants, but sitting down and talking about all of it with people who get to travel to customer sites or who are actually our customers is something which does make you look at a lot of things differently, something we would love to do on a regular basis. While the discussion was in progress, our project manager’s notebook was getting filled with new ideas.
Following lunch, the new HandiFox Online was showcased to the attendees. The cloud-based inventory and sales management system was welcomed by our partners who promised committing themselves to getting the hang of it and seeing to that the app finds its audience. Most of them confirmed that there hadn’t been many clients transitioning to Online yet, so the market is still not that big in their areas.
One of the conference’s highlights was the awarding ceremony – Stephan Stewart at Nter Solutions (Trinidad and Tobago) was awarded as Best International Partner, Kurt Casas of KC Auto Body Supply – HandiFox’s first client ever, our old friend and an idea person – was awarded Outstanding Contributor, Scott Gregory at Bottom Line Accounting Solutions - Best Referral Partner and Barcodes, Inc. was awarded as Best Reseller.
Here are some shots from the conference.
We hope to make the conference an annual tradition and that we will see more new faces at our big roundtable next year!
HandiFox extends our sincerest thanks to the participants of the HandiFox Global Partner Conference 2016.
